At the end of the day I'm just a girl from the REZ. Rez chics rise with the sun and work hard all day. We hunt, fish, farm, weave, bead, sing and dance. We are taught at a young age to appreciate the natural elements that God has blessed this earth with. We love hard and we fight hard. We are survivors! A day on the Rez with my family would involve swimming in the river, listening to Bob Marley, laughing until we have side cramps, cooking and eating. Hey Dolls, I titled today's post "Triple B" because everything I wanted to share starts with the letter B. Blue, Black & Braids. When I'm in a rush (but still want to look like I cared about how I look) I opt for bold color with black accents. I don't know what it is about the combo but it always works.  My daughter and I have been playing with braids a lot.
